PROJECT 3A - Perspective

LECTURER:DR.ILYAS
Conclusion from Dr.Ilyas teaching,he tell about university students life from different status. Example, students came from poor and rich family. They parents have a hope to them so they will be a avail person in future after finishing study at university.
However, poor students and rich student have a same intention. The poor students dream a money, a Mercedes car and get a couple with a sexy girl. But when he come to the first class, he sleep when the lecture start. He must dream about money, loving and another.
Beside that, Dr. Ilyas talk about change from university students. Usually at the first semester, girls student wearing "Baju Kurung" but when come second semester, what happen? They change to sexy clothes. The guys students also change with their fashion.
So, as a conclusion from Dr Ilyas, have many knowledge we can get like:
1) Intention to came university is study not for loving/couple
2) Don't disappoint parents hope
3) Change from bad to good not good to bad
4) Maintain our attitude from first semester until last semester
5) Must focus when lecture teach. Don't sleep

EXISTENCE
From the oxford dictionary, the meaning of existence is 1. Fact or manner of bieng or existing. 2. continuance in life or being. 3. all that exist. Three different meaning of existence, but what i understand about existence. I will start with the greatest, the living and Eternal exist that is ALLAH 'azzawajalla. The Holy Quran describe about Allah's eternal existence:
Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep....[Al-Qur'an 2:255].
The verse from Qur'an above proof about His existence. The creation and the existence of the universe also is the creation of Allah. All things exist by His will:
"When we decree a thing, We need only say: 'Be', and it is " [Al-Qur’an 5:32]
The Big Bang Theory is the most famous theory about the creation of the universe.
This theory states that the universe is actually in form of closed-up mass in zero hour and explodes with massive explosion and form the universe that is always expend far away until now. However 
the Quran accurately describes the event of the Big Bang in the following words:
Do not the unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were a closed-up mass (ratqan), then We clove them asunder (fataqna)? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? [Al-Qur'an 21:31].
Abot the universe expention also describe in Quran:
And the heaven We built with Our own powers (aydin) and indeed We go on expanding it (musi'un). [Al-Qur'an 51:48]
All above are the factor or truth about the existence of the universe. This also the beginning the life of human existence. The first creation of human is Adam 'alaihi salam:
"He began the creation of man from clay, and made his progeny from a quintessence of fluid" [Al-Qur'an 32:7-8].
It is We Who created you and gave you shape; then We bade the angels bow down to Adam, and they bowed down; not so Iblees; He refused to be of those who bow down.
[Al-Qur'an 7:11]
Thus, human beings have a fundamental attachment to the earth. All of us born from one parent that is our great great grandfather Adam 'alaihi salam and his wife eve as it recorded in Qur'an:
"Oh humankind! We created you from a single pair of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, so that you may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honoured among you in the sight of Allah is the who is the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)" [Al-Qur'an 49:13].
What is our propose of existence in this very world? This is also been describe in Qur'an about the truth of our existence in earth.
And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should enslave themselves to Me
[Al-Qur'an 51:56]
It is He Who hath made you the inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. [Al-Qur'an 6:165]
The verses from Qur'an above state a clear truth about us thus, we been created by He should take responsibilities to make prosperous in earth for preparation to meet Him after life. But what we do know is destroying the earth that is really oppose from what He order us. We also to be remind that we have to always obey Him. That is my understanding of existence and it is always Allah is The one who exist eternally from the past infinity time. As a reminder... wherever we live now, we will back to Him soon or later.
So glory to Him in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him will ye be all brought back. [Al-Qur'an 36:83].

The Big Bang
On 9/8/09, the big bang starts. Actually this is just an orientation program for newbie HBP students. It is start at 5.00 pm with futsal game for boys and girls students at the futsal courts. The netball game also start at the 
same time but only for girls student. The game plan was to make junior, senior and the lecturer to get along as they play the games. That because the arrangement of game is junior versus senior and lecturer. Even though many of junior student always lose like the "kaki bangku team" we also have a dream team that is "Futsal team" where they have never been lost yet. The futsal game continued with the girl team versus each other. I dont remember what their team are but they play futsal is not very bad and some of boys enjoy watching it. The game continued until dusk. However many of us went back to the hostel for the maghrib prayer.
At the second day, we having a opening ceremony where the dean become the one who declare the big bang event officially. In his speech, he says that all the HBP students are family, lots of things that we need to learn and also appreciate your seniors for they effort to help us in HBP. He also remind us abaot 6 important element that we need to remember everytime that is image buliding, self building, team building, capacity building, problem solvings an future planning.
The big bang continued on the night with the project work. We need to name our team and my team is the Daviant Troopers. After that we need to came out with some team cheers and a sculpture. Below are some of the picture

The program on that night was ended at 1.00 a.m and we get some rest to get rady for tomorrow program.
On 11/8/09, we have a task to complete. That task name was Soft landing where we need to make a gadget that can make an egg not broken when it release from high above.This is our gadget design:
Even so our gadget design was not very attractive, it is still can make the egg stand stil and not broken when it was releasd from third level of the building. However there is a couple of team that their eggs was broken when it was fall. After all of the eggs things, we are given space to rest at 4.00p.m and get prepare for explorace thiat night. At 8.30p.m, the student were gather at the Dataran Merah. The explorace starts at 9.00p.m. Even it was rain that night, the program must to keep going. The student starts with deviding into 8 groups and give the first clue as a starting task. We need to search about 8 clue around of the school of HBP. The explorace was ended at 2.00a.m. By 12/8/09, the last day of a big bang, we were given other task at 10.30a.m where we need to make a peformance for the closing ceremony and annual dinner this night. All team discussed with their teamates for what their want to do this night. As the night came, the ceremony begin at 9.00p.m with a speech from Deputy Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aldrin Abdullah. After that, the closing ceremony was officialy declare by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aldrin Abdullah and the annual dinner starts at the same time and also performance by all the junior team. The event ended with given present to the winner of futsal game and the best team in whole programe. The senior also choose one of us as the prince and princess of that night. It is ended with all of us exhausted and satisfaction.

What I read Today
Today is the first day at HBP where the newbie student gather at lecture hall E48B for subject Integrated Studio 1 (RUS 101). Mr. Wan Burhanuddin who was handling the lecture. At first, he introduce us the studiomaster that will become our instructor in these semester for the subject. After that, the lecture starts with a topic about Reading & Documentation. He ask us "what is READ actually?" and then he show us many explanation about read. We can conclude that read is something that you look with your eye and understand it and make a conclusion by using your brain about what you have read. He also explain to us the process of reading, it is start with an intention because without it you will don't know what to do. However, intention needs an actors so it can move on to another process that is act. Act is a second process where you do something about what have you intended about but it is important to act by the rules. It is to make the process run smoothly and advance to another process that is a product, the final process. A good product have a site. To make a good product, we have to follow these process completely. It is also can apply with something activity that you intend to do. Thats was some of the first part of lecture. The lecture continued with somthing about Tools to make something. It its start with Document, Communicate, Design, Construct and Serve. The lecture end at 12 pm but before that he explain to us about The Big Bang that is the orientation event that we need to make a report and publish it.
